I can’t lie, the trends this year are really getting to me. From the lycra and velvet boots to the clear heels I am all into it. I can almost finally bring out my vintage oversized sweaters which are my absolute faves but not just yet. Sadly enough, Atlanta is only cold in the mornings and suddenly causes heat strokes by noon so the whole “throw on a light jacket” movement is the only autumn action I’m getting right now.
What doesn’t depend on temperature though is accessories and thank goodness for that. Chokers happen to be my absolute favorite thing right now and no matter if I am wearing the thickest sweater alive or still slipping into tank tops, it still works. The only thing that truly matters is the neckline and really, unless you’re wearing a turtleneck, you should be good to go.
The most common of the choker family is probably the gold plated and velvet ones (of course, I have both) and those two in particular do go with almost anything. This choker in particular though is in its own lane with me and I absolutely love it.
I snagged it from @MeganB_Neckpeace and I am so glad I went outside of the norm for this one. The beading is what really stood out to me and gave me a different vibe. It isn’t as tight on the neck as the others so it’s more of a collar necklace, but I love it just the same. On top of that though, it’s actually navy even though it may look black so it really can go either way. For me, that simply means more outfits to wear it with!
To sum it all up though, I am all choker gang this season and maybe even after. The varieties are getting ridiculous and I want almost all of them. Please don’t be surprised if you see one in every post from this point forward because there will be no shame in my game. For this one though, visit @MeganB_Neckpeace on Instagram to check out all of her handmade jewelry. You will definitely see me in more of it coming soon if you haven’t noticed some already and of course make sure you follow me @TheChloeBrand. Until next time guys!
P.S. There’s a lighter blue one too and together, they stack beautifully!
