Summer is slowly ending. On one end I am happy that the heat is way more bearable, but on the other end I am not a fan of the seemingly longer days.  School is back in session and traffic is a disgrace.  But no matter the circumstance, one thing that hasn’t changed (at least for me) is style…

Regardless of temperature, the sun still shines and regardless of the season, sunglasses are a must.  It may not seem like it, but sometimes the simplest accessories, ones that aren’t even a serious necessity, can really make (or break) an outfit.  These Smitten Kitten lenses from Consult Your Image definitely helped make mine.

Now until this year, seeing me in sunglasses wasn’t common.  It isn’t because I don’t like them but most times I am wearing my [heavily medicated] glasses, so switching my eyewear of choice isn’t really an option (unless I voluntarily want to run into something) — no exaggeration.  Also, even though they usually don’t make an appearance, I actually have a collection of shades that isn’t too shabby.  No fancy brands, except my pair of Bailey Eyewear by Cynthia Bailey, but I do have a large enough variety to stay poppin’.

I owned one pair of cat eye styled shades about 2-3 years ago and to this day have no clue what happened to them.  Now that I have this pair though, the last ones don’t even compare.  These still have a subtle feel and because of their dark hue and minimal hardware, they can go with various looks.  I will say though that the casual looks are probably the best.

In the meantime, make sure you follow and like @thechloebrand for more exclusive pics and posts.  Until next time guys!
