Sooooo….yea. I’m pretty sure the title for this post says it all. No fancy intro here, just cold hard facts. Plenty times I have posted an all black or almost-all-black look and honestly, I don’t know if that will change. Not any time soon anyway.
There is just something about all black that I personally can’t get away from. I’m not sure if it’s the versatility of being able to mix and match other solid black pieces, the fact that it goes with other prints and colors effortlessly, or because it takes off a few pounds. But either way, black is winning and with this first look from my partnership with Fashion to Figure, I think I am too.
One thing I don’t buy enough of is shirts, so this one in particular from Fashion to Figure was a no brainer for me. I am always looking for tops and most of the few that I do have aren’t too versatile. They look dope only with other specific pieces and that’s cool, but it can also be very limiting to your wardrobe. This one though is chic and simple but at the same time sexy. It has a slightly high neckline but a little bit of bare shoulder action too. It didn’t need anything extra on the neck which also made it perfect for this FTF skirt.
A leather skirt is sexy enough but a leather FRINGE skirt is a whole nother level. I had been looking for one for a while as the ones I found were always sold out or out of my personal price range. Once I teamed up with FTF though, this was the first piece that caught my eye that I absolutely had to have.
Last but not least, I can’t forget this bag. A black clutch is the definition of a closet staple and literally can go with almost anything, especially for me. I wear a lot of gold jewelry so the plated closure was perfect. It’s also a lot bigger than it looks so not only will you look fab for a night out, but you can easily have all of your important handbag essentials.
FTF seriously made this look effortless for me to coordinate. Their variety of tops and bottoms along with versatile accessories make it so easy to put a full look together. Just an FYI, their sizes aren’t the usual 0-3 that you’re thinking. Instead, they are more equivalent to L-3x.
