So already February has come and pretty much gone. Personally I’m excited about it because it means warmer weather is coming, but right now we’re at the awkward stage between winter and spring where you really don’t know what to wear. Some days the weather is amazing, the sun is shining, and the perfect breeze is blowing through your hair. Then there are the days where you really don’t understand how all of a sudden it’s snowing, your flight is canceled, and you’re stuck in the New York but that’s another story for another day.
Anyways, that type of bipolar weather is the reason you see me wearing an oversized coat with the perfect laser cut heel from Ciao Amante….
Now any other day I will most likely choose my shoes last. It’s just always easier to pick a full look to even know what type of shoe would be my best choice. But in this case I did the complete opposite and ended up with the best of both worlds.
This shoe was lust at first site. Love too, but definitely lust. The color alone had me sold on it. If you don’t already know this fun fact about me, I literally have over 200 pairs of shoes, actually over 200 pairs of heels. This is not an exaggeration or me bragging, it is a simple fact. The funny thing is though, even with all of those shoes, this is not a color I have too many options in. On top of that though, I also have a strange love for lace-up and caged styles. For me, this was definitely a no brainer.
I discovered Ciao Amante via Instagram and also with it being a new business, I had to support. I immediately inquired about these and luckily this was the last pair in my size (LOOK AT GOD!) which means it was obviously meant to be. They are located in Augusta, GA so even if I wanted to make the drive to actually try things on I could which is a big plus for me. Needless to say, you guys will see more Ciao Amante shoes on my feet very soon.
As for the rest of the look, it was simple for the most part. I found the perfect shade skirt which quickly completed the bottom half. Now even though there are warmer days, keep in mind it is still winter and for that reason I wanted to keep the entire pallet of the look relevant to that. Burgundy and tan go great together but I didn’t want to overdo it. The navy coat was the perfect touch. Obviously shoes from Ciao Amante are great for easy wardrobe decisions lol.
In the meantime while you are waiting on more Ciao Amante features, make sure you support. Follow them on Instagram @ciaoamante or visit them personally if you are in the area.
